CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER®

As a Financial Advisor at GFS Retirement, my primary responsibilities encompass various aspects of financial planning. I work closely with clients, conducting semi-annual and annual account reviews to ensure their financial strategies remain aligned with their goals. Continued education is a crucial part of my work, as I stay updated on market trends, research new funds and investments, and offer personalized recommendations based on each client's unique situation. With over 17 years of experience in the financial services industry, I am dedicated to helping clients achieve their retirement planning goals and providing them with tailored products and services to meet their specific needs.

Prior to joining GFS Retirement, I gained valuable experience at Raymond James & Associates. This opportunity allowed me to further refine my skills and deepen my knowledge of the financial industry. Throughout my career, I have obtained several securities licenses, including the Series 7, 9, 10, 24, and 66, as well as the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) certification. These qualifications enable me to provide comprehensive financial advice and support to my clients. Additionally, my educational background includes a Bachelor's of Science in Applied Sociology from Texas State University and a Master of Science in Counseling from the University of Texas at San Antonio.

What motivates me most in my role is the opportunity to assist clients in their financial journey. I find great satisfaction in offering peace of mind and helping them achieve their goals. I am committed to going above and beyond to ensure our clients' financial wellness and planning needs are met, and I am excited to extend the same level of service to future prospects. Additionally, I am enthusiastic about the constant evolution of the financial industry, as it presents new products, funds, investments, and services that we can offer to our clients. For me, the greatest value I provide for my clients is the trust and loyalty they place in our firm. I prioritize building strong relationships and ensuring that our clients have peace of mind, knowing that their financial future is in capable hands.

Outside of work, I reside in Selma, Texas, with my husband Mitchell and our two boys, Kason and Keagan. Family is at the center of my life, and I cherish the time spent with them. I am an active member of St. John Lutheran Church in Marion, TX, and I also volunteer annually at the New Berlin Sausage Festival, which supports the New Berlin Volunteer Fire Fighters, where my cousin serves as the Fire Chief. In my free time, I enjoy engaging in various activities. I love spending quality time with family and friends, attending my boys' football games, and participating in Jiu Jitsu. I also have a passion for DIY projects, crafts, cooking, music, traveling, interior decorating, and history. Visiting museums allows me to explore my interest in history, and I am an avid fan of both the Houston Texans and the Texas Longhorns.
