I am the proud owner and financial professional at GFS Retirement. With a career spanning over four decades in the financial services industry, I have dedicated myself to helping clients create solid financial plans, with a specialization in retirement planning.
Since 1983, I have been working diligently to assist individuals and families in achieving their financial goals. Over the course of my career, I have obtained several notable designations, including the Life Underwriter Training Council Fellow (LUTCF) and the Fraternal Insurance Counselor (FIC). Additionally, I hold the Series 6 and 63 securities licenses, which enable me to provide comprehensive financial advice to my clients.
Before embarking on my professional journey, I attended Texas Lutheran University, where I acquired a solid educational foundation. However, my true passion lies in the success of my clients. Witnessing their financial achievements and knowing that our guidance has made a positive impact on their lives is what truly motivates me. What I enjoy most about my job is the opportunity to work with clients on a one-on-one basis. Building strong relationships allows me to understand their unique needs and tailor financial plans that align with their goals and aspirations. I firmly believe that the greatest value I can provide for my clients is caring for their overall well-being, both financially and personally.
While I am originally from Garnavillo, Iowa, I currently reside in the beautiful city of New Braunfels, Texas, with my wife Raelynn. Together, we have a blended family, including my stepson Paul, stepdaughter Heather, our daughter Christine, and three adorable grandchildren: Layla, Xander, and Raeven. Family is at the core of who I am, and I cherish the time spent with my loved ones. Outside of work, I am an active member of Peace Lutheran Church in New Braunfels. It brings me joy to be part of a community that shares similar values and provides support to those in need. In my free time, you can often find me cheering on the Green Bay Packers during football season or indulging in my passion for golf.
